Our business, Ishja Boutique And Garments Private Limited, is based in the village of Jassowal, which falls under Tehsil Jagraon. We operate out of a space cared for by Narinder Kaur. Being out here in a VPO means things are a little different compared to the big factories in the city. It is a bit quieter, and we know almost everyone who passes by our doors. We do boutique work, which is more personal and takes a bit more time than mass-produced stuff. We have a few sewing machines set up and a lot of different fabrics that we work with daily. People from the village and nearby areas often stop in to see what we are making or to check on their orders. It is a very hands-on type of business. We do not have any big corporate rules or fancy titles here. We just focus on sewing and making sure the garments look right. Jagraon is a nice place to be, and Jassowal has its own pace of life that we really enjoy. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get muddy during the rain, but we just manage it as it comes. It is a local boutique where we put in a lot of manual effort every day. We are just regular people making clothes for our community and beyond.
