Instruments Engineer

We are based in room 102 of the Satyam Plaza Commercial Complex on P.L. Sharma Road. It’s a busy commercial building with a lot of different shops and offices around us. Being an Instruments Engineer here means we deal with a lot of technical gadgets and measuring tools. The office is small but it is packed with equipment. There are shelves everywhere holding various instruments that need checking or fixing. We don't really have a waiting room or anything like that for visitors. People just walk in, leave their stuff, and we get to work. It can get a bit cramped when we have a big shipment coming in or out. P.L. Sharma Road is always full of people, so there is always noise from the street coming up to the first floor. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our work is very precise, so even if the street is loud, we have to stay focused on what’s on the bench. We aren't a big corporation. It's just a few of us who know how these things work. We spend a lot of time with manuals and small tools. Sometimes it takes all day just to get one piece of equipment reading right. We don't mind though. It is steady work and it keeps us busy. We like being in Satyam Plaza because it's easy for people to find us when they need a repair. It is a practical location for what we do on a daily basis.
