Bedi Spanners Manufacturing Co is located at 1 Noorwala. It’s a simple address for a simple business. We make spanners and other hand tools. The forge and the machines have been running here for a long time. It gets very hot near the back where the manufacturing happens, especially in the afternoons. We all take turns making sure the quality is okay before anything goes into a box for shipping. It’s repetitive work, but we take a certain pride in it. You can hear the rhythmic sound of the metal being shaped from down the street. We don't have a big office or a showroom. Just a small area where we keep the finished products and handle the billing. Most of our days are spent on the floor, checking the machines and making sure the supplies are coming in on time. We’ve had the same crew for a while, so we all know what needs to be done without talking about it too much. It’s a quiet life in Noorwala, mostly. We just focus on the steel and the tools. We aren't into fancy labels or high-end marketing. We just make spanners that people can actually use without them breaking. It's what we know how to do, so we just keep doing it. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of soot and metal dust, but that’s just part of the job. It keeps us busy.
