Karan Tools (India)

At Karan Tools (India), things are usually pretty hectic. We are located at 46 G T Road, inside the Sardar Complex in Khetwadi. Being on GT Road means there is never a quiet moment with all the trucks and horns blaring outside. The shop is filled with rows of shelves holding all sorts of industrial tools. We aren't the type of place that cares much about how the display looks as long as the tools are good and the customers find what they need. Most of the time, the floor is covered in cardboard boxes because new stock is always arriving from different places. It’s a bit of a maze in here. We spend our days counting inventory and helping people figure out which wrench or drill bit is actually going to fit their machine. It’s practical work. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have the tools and the counter where we handle the cash and receipts. The air smells like metal and old paper. Sometimes the heat in the Sardar Complex gets to be a bit much in July, but we just keep the doors open and get on with it. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. If you need something for your workshop, we probably have it buried somewhere in the back of the stacks.
