Hotel Maharaja Regency

Hotel Maharaja Regency is right there at Aarti Chowk in Ludhiana. It’s a busy spot, especially around the Varasia area, and you can hear the horns honking most of the day. The building itself has been around for some time, and we just keep things running as they are. It isn't one of those places with a huge lobby or fancy uniforms. Usually, there is just one of us at the desk. We see a lot of folks coming in from the 141001 area or traveling through the Ludhiana Varasia and Vadodara Varasia parts of town for business. The rooms have beds and small tables, and the windows look out over the street traffic. We spend a lot of time cleaning the hallways and making sure the lights work. It gets dusty because of the road, so there is always some dusting to do. People stay here because they need to be near the center of things. We don't have a big kitchen, but there are plenty of small shops nearby where you can grab a bite. Sometimes the water takes a minute to get warm in the mornings, but it gets there eventually. We just provide a place to sleep for the night. It’s a plain setup, really. Most of our guests are just looking for a spot to put their bags down while they go out into the city. We try to keep things simple and don't bother people much while they stay here.
