H S Marshal & Company has been operating out of the Jwaddi Road area for quite some time now. Our address is 861/3, right near Punjab Mata Nagar on the main G T Road. Being on the G T Road means there is never a quiet moment. There’s always a truck or a tractor rumbling by outside. We deal with various industrial things that people in this part of Punjab need. The building isn't brand new, and the walls have seen a lot of years, but it works for what we do. Inside, there's a lot of metal and the smell of oil and old grease. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what the people who come here care about. They just want their parts or their supplies so they can get back to their own work. The office part is just a desk with some old ledgers and a computer that’s seen better days. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s a tight-knit spot here on Jwaddi Road. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit of a mess, but we still open up anyway. We’ve got a routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We show up, move some stock, talk to the transporters, and handle the paperwork. It’s just plain, hard work every day in this corner of the city, and that suits us just fine.
