We've been here at 62 A G T Road for a long time now. The traffic on Daba Road never really stops, so there’s always a hum in the background while we work. Being near Nirmal Palace helps people find us, though most folks around here already know where the shop is. My sons are usually here helping out with the lifting and the paperwork. It gets quite dusty with all the trucks passing by on the main road, but we try to keep the place tidy enough. Most days start with a cup of tea and a look at what needs to be moved or sorted. There isn’t much fancy stuff going on here. We just handle what comes in and make sure it goes out to the right person. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s just us sitting and watching the street. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but it still says the name clearly enough. We don't have a big staff, just family and a couple of guys who have been with us for years. It’s a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we manage. You’ll usually find someone at the front desk even during the hot afternoons when most people are taking a break. It’s just how we run things. Nothing too complicated, just a normal day at the shop on G T Road. We close up when the sun starts to set and the traffic finally begins to thin out just a little bit.
