Goyal Glass & Aluminium Fabicators

We are set up at House No. 544/88 on Street No. 2, right along New Shiv Puri Road. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Radhey Shyam Mandir. You can usually hear us before you see us because there is always some glass being cut or aluminium frames being snapped together. Goyal Glass & Aluminium Fabricators is a family-style operation. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. Instead, we have a workspace filled with off-cuts, sheets of glass leaning against the walls, and racks of metal sections. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a big project taking up the floor space. We spend a lot of time measuring twice and cutting once, because glass isn't very forgiving if you make a mistake. The dust from the aluminium can get everywhere, so we are always sweeping up at the end of the day. People from the neighborhood know us well. They come by when a window breaks or when they want to put a new partition in their shop. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth around New Shiv Puri Road keeps us plenty busy. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move the glass around safely, so we have to slow down. We just take things as they come. It’s basic work, but it keeps the lights on and we enjoy being part of the local street life near the temple.
