You can find Gian Singh Avtar Singh down at the Old Tyre Market, specifically at E-3-4/1011. We are right in the New Market area, directly opposite the railway station in Sunder Nagar. Being so close to the station means there is a constant rumble of trains passing by and a lot of commuters walking past our front door. The tyre market is a loud and busy place with people shouting and trucks backing in and out all day. Our shop has stacks of tyres and other rubber goods piled high, sometimes almost reaching the ceiling. It’s a family-run kind of place and we have been in this spot for many years. The air always has that strong scent of new rubber which you get used to after a while. We have an old desk where we sit to handle the cash and talk to the people who stop by. It’s often quite dusty because of all the traffic outside, but we try to keep the place as tidy as we can. We don't have any corporate slogans or anything like that. We just know about tyres and we spend our time helping folks find what fits their vehicle. When the evening train whistles blow, we know it's almost time to start closing up and heading home after another long day in the market.
