Garima Cement Tiles

You can find us over at Plot No. 8 on Jalandhar Bypass Road. We are pretty close to Jalandhar Chowk, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by. Our yard is where we make and keep the cement tiles. It is a bit of a messy job, honestly. Cement gets everywhere and we are usually covered in grey dust by noon. We start early because once the sun gets high, working outside on the bypass road gets tough. The trucks are always rumbling past our gate, and it can get quite loud. We make different types of tiles that people use for their courtyards or walkways. There is nothing fancy about our setup. It’s just a flat piece of land with stacks of tiles waiting to be loaded up. Most of the guys working here have been with us for a while, and we just get on with the daily tasks. We don’t really have a big office, mostly just a small room where we keep the records and sit down for tea. Sometimes people stop their cars because they saw the tiles from the road. We show them what we have on hand and tell them the price. It is straightforward work without any complications. We just focus on getting the tiles out to the local sites when someone needs them for their driveway or a small project. It’s just how we do things here.
