Dada Savitri Motors Ltd is located right on the G T Road at the 1st Main Road. It’s a fairly large spot compared to some of the smaller shops around here. We have cars parked out front and a service area in the back where the mechanics work. Even though the name says Ltd, it still feels like a local place where we know the people who walk in. The showroom floor is usually kept clean, but the back area is where the real work happens with all the tools and oil. People come in looking for a vehicle or just needing an oil change. G T Road is always busy, so there is constant noise from the trucks passing by. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to customers about different models. Sometimes the paperwork takes longer than we’d like, and things get a bit slow. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the country, just a reliable spot on the main road for people who need motor services. Some of us have worked here for years and we’ve seen the road change a lot. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with mechanical issues. We just open up every morning and handle whatever comes through the gate. It’s a steady kind of life for us here on the 1st Main Road.
