Basant Resorts

People usually find us easily enough because we are right here on Malhar Road in Sarabha Nagar. It gets quite busy outside during the day, with all the cars and bikes going past our door at 1 G. We spend a lot of our time just keeping up with things around the place. The rooms need cleaning, the linens get washed, and there is always someone coming in or going out. Most of the staff has been here for a while now. We know where everything is, from the extra towels to the light switches that act a bit funny sometimes. It isn't a fancy palace or anything like that, just a building where people stay when they are in town. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded when a whole family arrives at once with all their bags. We just try to get them sorted out as fast as we can. The air conditioning hums in the background and we keep the floors swept. It feels like a second home to those of us who work here every day. We see the seasons change through the front windows. Some days are quieter than others, which gives us time to fix a leaky tap or paint a bit of a wall that got scuffed. We just keep going, day after day, making sure the gates are open and the lights are on for whoever shows up at the desk. It is just how things are here at Basant Resorts.
