B Tech In Electronics Comm Engg is located at 1553 New Subhash Nagar in Basti Jodhewal, Ludhiana. We are set up at the house of Mr Jaipal Kumar. It is a typical residential street in Punjab, so you’ll hear kids playing outside and the occasional tractor or scooter passing by. The workspace is basically a room in the house that’s been taken over by circuit boards, soldering irons, and a lot of wires. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and see us working on whatever electronic project is on the table that day. Ludhiana can get really hot, so we usually have a big cooler running that makes a lot of noise. There are components kept in old plastic containers and boxes stacked in the corner. It’s a bit disorganized if I’m being honest, but we know where the important tools are. Mr Jaipal Kumar is around often, and sometimes we take breaks to have some food or just sit outside for a bit. It’s a very local, home-based setup. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; the walls are just plain and there are diagrams pinned up here and there. It feels like a workshop more than an office, which is fine for the kind of engineering work we are doing here in 141007.
