Ziya General Store

I've been running Ziya General Store here in Saadatganj for a while now. It is right in the Fazil Nagar area of Lucknow, 226003. Most days, it is just me and maybe a helper behind the counter. We keep all the usual stuff people need daily. Flour, sugar, some soaps, and the kids usually come in for biscuits or chips after school. It gets pretty busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and they realize they forgot milk or tea leaves. The shop isn't fancy at all. Just shelves full of boxes and bags. Sometimes the fans don't work great during the peak Lucknow summer, but we manage. People know where we are. It’s a simple spot. I try to keep everything stocked so nobody has to go too far for basic things. The street outside can get a bit loud with the traffic and the rickshaws, but that is just how it is in this part of town. I usually open up early in the morning and stay late. It is a long day, but it’s what we do. If you live around here, you probably walked past us a hundred times. We just try to have the essentials ready. Not much else to say really, it is just a regular general store. Sometimes we get new snacks in, and the neighborhood kids get excited. That is about the most exciting thing that happens here on this street in Fazil Nagar.
