Saigon Traders

Our office is over at No.1-A on the first floor of the Om Complex. It’s right there in Sector 15, on Sapru Marg. If you know where the Nirulas is, we are just opposite that. It’s a busy spot, especially around lunch. We’ve been running Saigon Traders from here for some time now. It’s not a huge office, just enough room for the desks and all the files we have to keep track of. Trading involves a lot of back-and-forth on the phone and checking lists. We spend most of our mornings just catching up on what needs to go where. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. The first floor isn’t too bad of a climb though. Being in Sector 15 means there is always something going on outside. You hear the traffic and the people on the street all day. We keep the doors shut to drown out some of the noise so we can focus on the numbers. It’s just regular office work, nothing too exciting to talk about. We deal with various suppliers and try to keep our records straight. Some days are slower than others, and we just sit and have tea while waiting for the next call. It’s a practical setup for what we do. People drop by occasionally to discuss business, and we just pull up a chair for them. We don't have any fancy brochures or big presentations. We just get on with the day. We are usually here until the evening when the street gets a bit quieter.
