Vishal Garments is located at Nehru Cross, 252/57 Rakabganj, right near the Khoya Mandi. It’s a very busy part of town, especially in the mornings when the market is in full swing. Our shop is filled with racks of clothes and piles of fabric that we’ve gathered over time. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to fit as much stock as we can so people have choices. We spend most of our time folding shirts or helping someone find the right size in a pair of trousers. The noise from the Khoya Mandi carries right into the shop, so it’s never really quiet here. We aren't a big mall store with bright lights and fancy displays; we’re just a local place where you can find something decent to wear. Sometimes the piles of clothes get a bit messy after a long day of customers looking through things, but we tidy up before closing. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and know most of the other shopkeepers around Nehru Cross. Dealing with different fabrics and styles can be a lot of work, but we enjoy the rhythm of the market. It gets very hot in the summer and the fans don't always do enough, but we keep going. If you come by, just look for the shop with the most colors near the cross.
