Vishnu Garments

If you know Lucknow, you know Qaiserbagh is one of those places that never really stays quiet. Our shop is located at 2 Qaiserbagh, right in the thick of things. Vishnu Garments has been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our front door. The area is full of old buildings and lots of history, but we just focus on the clothes inside our four walls. It gets really hot in the summer here, so we try to keep the shop as cool as we can with just some fans and open doors. We don’t have fancy marketing or a big team of designers. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day stuff like checking the stock and helping whoever walks in from the street. The traffic outside can be a bit much sometimes, with all the horns and people, but once you step inside, it’s a bit more manageable. We keep things pretty simple—lots of cottons and regular wear that people in Lucknow actually want to buy. We aren't trying to compete with those big luxury brands. We just want to provide something useful for the folks who live and work around Qaiserbagh. It’s a basic business run by regular people, and that’s the way we like to keep it.
