Vijay Kumar Verma Spices

Vijay Kumar Verma Spices is located at Plot No. 594/453 in Sadar Bazaar, which is over in the Nilmatha area. We’re actually right near the primary school, so things get pretty loud in the afternoons when the kids are finishing up for the day. Our setup is pretty simple. We have a small warehouse area where we keep the raw spices and a space where we do the grinding and packing. It’s a family-run thing, really. I’m usually there every morning opening up the shutters and checking the stock. Sadar Bazaar is a busy place, and there’s always something going on, which keeps us on our toes. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get the job done. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat, and we don’t mind. We spend our time getting the spices sorted and making sure they are clean. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting bags and moving things around, but we’re used to it. The primary school kids sometimes peek in through the door to see what we’re doing. We’ve been in Nilmatha for a good while, and most of the folks around here know us by name. We don't do any big advertising; word of mouth has always been enough for us. It’s a modest business, but it’s ours, and we take care of it every day. We just try to keep things moving along nicely for everyone.
