Sunil Gerenal Store

Sunil Gerenal Store is right near the Mohibullapur Station in Jankipuram. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of people in a hurry. They usually want something quick like a bottle of water or some snacks before they catch their train. It is a busy little spot in Lucknow. We have been here for a bit and the routine never really changes much. We get the milk delivery early in the morning and that is when the first few customers show up. The shop itself is not very big, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves. We have everything from soap bars to bags of flour tucked away in different corners. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. Jankipuram is a big residential area, so we also get the locals who just need a few things for their kitchen. We don't use any fancy computer systems here, just a simple notebook to keep track of things. The fan hums all day to keep the heat away, but it still gets warm inside. It’s just how it is. We don't have a big corporate vision or anything like that. We just open the shop, sell the goods, and close up at night. It’s a practical way to earn a living and we know our neighbors well. It works out for everyone in the end.
