Stylo Menz

Stylo Menz is down in the basement at the LDA complex in Kapoorthala, Lucknow. We are situated near the Mahindra showroom, which is how most people find their way to us. Being in a basement means it stays a little cooler than the street level, which is nice during the Lucknow summers. It is a men's hair salon where guys come in for a quick cut or maybe a shave. The space isn't huge, but we have enough chairs for the locals who visit. We get a lot of office workers and young guys from the neighborhood. It is a simple place with a few mirrors and the sound of clippers going most of the day. We have been in this spot for a while now. The lighting is bright enough to see what we are doing. There is usually a bit of a wait on Sunday mornings because everyone wants to get cleaned up for the week ahead. We just keep a stack of old newspapers and magazines for people to look at while they wait. It’s not a fancy place with music or anything, just a straightforward barber shop. We know the regulars and how they like their hair done. It is a bit tucked away, but once you know where the LDA building is, we are easy to spot. Just a few of us working here, keeping the shop running day in and day out for anyone who needs a trim.
