Soni Furnitures

We are right in the middle of Chawk, which is always a crowded place to be. Soni Furnitures has been around for some time, and our shop is full of wood shavings and the smell of polish most days. It gets pretty cramped in here with all the tables and chairs we have lined up. We spend most of our time out back working on pieces or showing people what we have ready on the floor. Chawk is noisy and there is always someone walking by peering in the window. Sometimes the delivery truck struggles to find a spot to park because the lanes are so narrow. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The lights in the back room aren't the brightest, but we know our tools well enough. It’s a family kind of setup, so things aren't always perfectly organized, but we find what we need eventually. People from the local streets come by when they need a new stool or a cupboard repaired. We don't have a big website or anything, just this physical shop here in the market. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy wood and sanding down edges until they feel right. It’s just how we spend our days here in the heart of the city. We don't make a big fuss, just keep working on the furniture one piece at a time. It’s simple work.
