Being located at 4/251 Vijayant Khand in Gomti Nagar puts us right in the middle of a busy residential area. The Skin And Child Care Clinic is a place where we see a lot of families, which means there’s usually at least one kid crying or running around the waiting room at any given time. Gomti Nagar is a large part of Lucknow, and Vijayant Khand has a lot of people who have lived here for decades. The clinic isn't very large, just a few rooms adapted for medical use. We have some colorful stickers on the walls in the child care section to make it look a bit less scary for the little ones. The skin side of the clinic is a bit more straightforward. I usually start the day by wiping down the counters and checking the appointment book. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team; people usually find us because they live a few streets over or their cousin told them to come here. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit in the afternoon, and we just open the windows and keep going. It’s a practical place for practical people. The chairs are a bit old, but they’re comfortable enough for a short wait. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name now.
