Dr. Rahul Kawatra Clinic

We started this place in Vivek Khand 2 a few years back now. Gomti Nagar has changed a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people know the way. The clinic isn't very big, just a front room with some old chairs and the inner room where the checkups happen. We keep a stack of newspapers on the table, though they usually get messy by noon. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open the windows to let the breeze in. Lucknow heat is no joke in the summer. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s not a fancy hospital, just a regular clinic where we try to help out with whatever is bothering someone. Most days are busy, but we find time to have tea in the afternoon when it gets a bit quiet. The walls are painted a light blue, but they could probably use a new coat soon. We don’t have any big signs, just the one outside the gate. It feels like a part of the neighborhood. People stop by to chat even when they aren't sick. That is just how it is here in this part of town. We are just doing our thing day by day. We've got a ceiling fan that hums a bit too loud, but nobody seems to mind it much.
