Ak Clinic

We’ve been here in E Block for a good while now. The clinic is just a regular spot where people from around the neighborhood stop by when they aren't feeling their best. It’s usually pretty quiet in the mornings, except for the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional car driving past outside. We have a few chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days, but they do the job. Sometimes the front door sticks a bit when it’s humid, so you have to give it a little extra push to get inside. I spend a lot of my time filing papers or cleaning off the desk. There isn't much fancy decoration here, just some old posters about washing hands and a calendar from three years ago that nobody ever took down. People know where to find us. Usually, it's just the locals walking over from the nearby houses. We keep some basic supplies in the back cabinets and try to keep things organized, even if it gets a bit messy during the busy hours in the evening. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too special to look at, but it’s where we work every day. I usually make tea around four o'clock, and the smell drifts through the hallway. It’s just how things go around here in this part of E Block. We know the names of most people who walk through that door by now. I usually close up the shutters once the sun goes down and the street lights start flickering.
