Sita General Store

Our little shop is located at A 2/47 in Vinay Khand, right here in Gomti Nagar. We are close to Malik Timber, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. This isn't one of those big supermarkets where you get lost in the long aisles. It’s a small general store where things are a bit cramped but we know exactly where everything is kept. We sell the usual stuff that people need for their homes on a daily basis. Most of our customers are neighbors who live just down the street or in the next block. We open up early and usually stay until late evening. It’s a lot of standing behind the counter and chatting with people while they pick out what they need for dinner. Sometimes the shelves look a bit messy because we just got a delivery and haven't had a chance to stack everything neatly yet. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just try to keep the basics in stock so people don't have to go far. If we run out of something, we try to get it back in by the next week. It’s a simple life running a store in Gomti Nagar. You see the same faces every day and watch the kids grow up in the neighborhood. We aren't looking to expand into some giant chain. We just like being the local spot where you can grab a few things on your way back home.
