Singh Siddiqui Llp is basically a small operation run out of B 142 in Mayur Vihar. If you’re familiar with the Faridinagar area, you know it’s a mix of homes and little shops, which suits us just fine. We started this because we noticed a lot of people needed help with their legal or business filings but didn’t want to go to a massive firm where they’d just be a number. Here, it’s mostly just Singh and Siddiqui and a couple of assistants helping out with the heavy lifting. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and some very full filing cabinets. We spend a lot of time on the phone or going through documents. Some days are quieter than others, but we usually have something on the go. Living and working in Mayur Vihar is pretty convenient. You get to know the people around here. We’ve had neighbors drop by just to ask a quick question, and we don't mind that. It feels more like a community than a business district. Sometimes we lose track of time when we're deep in a project. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, but we make do. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just help people get their paperwork sorted so they can get on with their lives. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes.
