Ang Sang Securities

We’ve been here at Gumti Plaza-5 for a while now. It’s right in the middle of Kaushalpuri. If you know where Jai Hind Cinema is, we are basically just around the corner from there. Most days start with opening up the shutters and getting the computers running. It gets pretty busy around here in the mornings. There’s always someone coming in to ask about paperwork or their accounts. We handle securities and things like that. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and chairs where we get the work done. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the door is left open. Sometimes we go out for tea near the cinema when things quiet down in the afternoon. People in the building are mostly friendly. We’ve known the guys in the other shops for years. It’s a decent spot to work from. There’s plenty of foot traffic because of the location. We just keep our heads down and focus on the numbers. The plaza itself is older but it serves its purpose for us. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but that’s just how it goes here. It’s a straightforward life really. We get in early, stay until the market closes, and then head home. No big fuss about anything. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first moved in. New shops open and old ones close, but Ang Sang Securities is still sitting here in our little corner of Lgc.
