Shri Shubhash Provision Store

Lucknow's Indira Nagar area is always busy. We are right here in Ravindra Palli, close to the Neelgiri landmark. My family has been running Shri Shubhash Provision Store for a while now. It’s a simple shop on Faizabad Road. We keep the usual things people need for their kitchens like daal, rice, and spices. Sometimes when the weather gets hot, the fridge stays full of cold drinks for anyone passing by. We open early in the morning because that’s when most people come to get milk or bread before starting their day. It’s not a big supermarket with fancy lights or anything. Just a regular place where we know most of our customers by their names. If someone needs a specific brand of soap or a certain type of flour, we try to keep it in stock. The street outside can get a bit noisy with all the traffic heading towards the main city, but inside it’s just us doing our work. We spend a lot of time counting packets and making sure nothing is past its date. People from the nearby houses stop by on their way home from work. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most folks find us, I guess. It feels good to be part of the community here in Lucknow. We just focus on keeping the shelves filled and the floor swept. Nothing too complicated about how we run things daily, it is just life.
