Shitiz General Store

Shitiz General Store is located at S-127 in Indira Nagar, Lucknow. We are specifically in the Shakti Khand area, which is part of A Block. I have been operating out of this spot in the 226016 zip code for a good while now. The store is tucked away in a residential part of the neighborhood, so it is mostly quiet compared to the main roads of Lucknow. I keep the shop stocked with the usual things like bread, eggs, detergent, and various snacks that the kids around here like to buy after school. The space is a bit narrow, so I have to be careful about how I stack the crates of cold drinks in the corner. I don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside, just the name of the store. During the summers, the shop gets quite warm, so I usually keep the door wide open to let whatever breeze there is come through. I know most of the families who live in A Block because they have been my customers since I first opened. It is a nice feeling to know your neighbors and see their kids grow up. Sometimes I run out of a particular brand of tea or flour, and I have to tell people to come back tomorrow after the delivery truck arrives. It is just a small, local business and I just try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. That is all there is to it really.
