Shib Industries

Working at Shib Industries in Vivek Khand-3 is pretty quiet compared to the main parts of the city. We are situated quite close to the Radha Krishna Mandir. Sometimes in the mornings, you can hear the bells from the temple while we are setting up for the day. Gomti Nagar has changed a lot since we first set up here. There are so many new buildings now, but our little corner feels familiar. We are just a small group of people making things happen. It is not a very formal place. I usually wear my old sandals to work because it’s comfortable. We don’t have a big board of directors or anything. It’s just a few of us making decisions over lunch. The office is simple. We have a few chairs that have seen better days and a table that wobbles a bit if you lean on it too hard. But the work gets done and that is what matters. We focus on the tasks we have for the day and try not to overcomplicate things. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, and other times we leave early if the weather is nice. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to do our jobs well and go home to our families. It’s a decent life here in Lucknow and we enjoy the routine of it all.
