Shalimar Concrete Industry

We are located right out on Deva Road in the Chinhat area. Most people know where we are because we’re so close to the big Tata Motors plant. It’s a loud part of town with all the heavy traffic and trailers going past. Our yard is usually full of concrete supplies and big piles of sand. It gets pretty messy, especially when it rains and the ground turns to mud. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. It's just a gate, a yard, and a small place to sit and do the paperwork. We spend our days loading up trucks and making sure the concrete is set right. My clothes are always stained with cement and dirt, but that’s fine. It’s the kind of job where you have to get your hands dirty. We’ve been here in Chinhat for a long time and have seen the road get busier every year. Sometimes the dust from the road is so thick you can't see the other side, but we just keep working. We know the regular drivers who come in and out. There's a tea stall down the road where we go when we need a break. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job and go home to our families. It’s a simple setup we have here. If you're driving down Deva Road, you can't miss the piles of concrete sitting there. We just focus on the task and try to be helpful when people stop by.
