Avon Traders

Avon Traders is tucked away in Gwynne Plaza, specifically at Shop No 177/64 on the upper ground floor, which people often call UGF 5. If you know Gwynne Road, you know how hectic it can get, especially being so close to the Aminabadbad area. It’s a maze sometimes but we’ve managed to carve out our own little corner here. We spend a lot of our time sorting through inventory and making sure our records are right. It’s not the most exciting work but it’s what keeps the business going. The lighting in the plaza isn’t always the best, and some days it feels like we are living under fluorescent bulbs forever, but the people who stop by make it worth it. We get a mix of regulars and folks who just wandered in while shopping for other things nearby. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. It’s just us doing our thing day in and day out. Sometimes we run out of tea or the internet goes slow, and we just have to deal with it like everyone else. We focus on getting through the tasks we have for the day and making sure the shop stays organized enough to find what we need. It’s an honest way to make a living and we are glad to be part of the community here. If you are looking for us, just head up to the upper ground floor.
