Har Ram Kalsi & Sons

Har Ram Kalsi & Sons has been a fixture on Latouche Road for quite a while. We are situated on Gautam Budh Marg, or GB Marg as many people call it, right across from the Kulbhaskar Complex. This part of the city is always crowded and noisy, but that’s just the nature of Latouche Road. Our building has been here through a lot of changes in the neighborhood. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s a lot of history in these walls. We don't have a polished showroom; it’s more of a working space where things are stacked and moved around all day. Opposite Kulbhaskar Complex is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. We mostly deal with the hardware and the mechanical side of things. It’s messy work sometimes, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We aren't interested in looking corporate. We just want to get the work done and help the people who walk through the door. There’s a certain rhythm to life on GB Marg. The traffic, the shouting, the sounds of loading and unloading—it’s all part of our day. We open the doors early and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple life and we’ve been doing it this way for generations. There’s no need for anything fancy when the old ways still work just fine for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on what needs doing.
