Scars Pharmaceuticals is based in Lucknow, over in the Adil Nagar area. Specifically, we are at Gayatri Puram, house number 655A/3/195A. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main city markets. We run the business out of this building. It’s a mix of an office and a small storage area for the medicines we handle. We’ve been here for a while now. The team is just a handful of local people who know the Lucknow pharmaceutical market. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. Instead, we focus on making sure our stock is right. The monsoon season can be a bit of a pain with the roads in Adil Nagar getting muddy, but we still manage to get our deliveries out. We handle a variety of tablets and syrups. Most of our day is spent on the phone with distributors or checking the expiry dates on the batches. It’s a lot of detail work. We like being in a quiet colony because it lets us focus. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello. We aren't some big faceless corporation. We are just local guys running a pharma business. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the files and cartons, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. Every day brings something new, but we stick to our routine and keep going.
