People around Kanchna Vihari Marg know us pretty well by now. We started Saviour Security Guard Services near Jagrani Hospital because this part of Kalyanpur gets quite busy at night. Our office isn't much to look at, just a desk and some plastic chairs where we interview guys looking for work. We spend a lot of time on the Ring Road checking on our staff at different sites. It’s hard work, keeping track of everyone and making sure shifts are covered when someone calls in sick at the last minute. We deal with real problems like broken gates, lost keys, or late-night noise complaints. It’s not a glamorous job. Mostly we are just making sure doors stay locked and people feel okay walking to their cars in the dark. We hire local men who need the work and know the area well. Sometimes the weather is terrible, but the guys stay at their posts with their raincoats on. We've had this spot for a bit, and it’s handy being near the hospital so people can find us easily without a map. There’s always someone in the office, even if they’re just drinking tea and filling out the daily logs. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure things run. We try to be fair with the pay and honest about the hours. That’s about all there is to it. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping watch and helping out where we can.
