Satguru General Store

Satguru General Store is located in the Indal Ganj area of Mohibullapur, which is part of Madiyawan here in Lucknow. We are positioned near Sri Nagar Colony, and it’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city center. Our shop is where we spend most of our waking hours, surrounded by biscuits, detergents, and sacks of rice. It’s a local business run by people who live right nearby. We don't have a corporate structure or any shiny signs. It is just a place to get your household items without having to go all the way into the busier parts of Lucknow. We know the routines of the people in Sri Nagar Colony, like who comes for milk in the morning and who stops for tea leaves in the evening. The shop can be a bit dusty because of the wind in Indal Ganj, but we try to keep the products clean. We handle all the chores ourselves, from sweeping the floor to dealing with the suppliers when they come by on their motorbikes. It isn't a fancy life, but it is honest work. We don't make big promises; we just try to keep the shelves from being empty. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when things are slow and watch the neighborhood go about its business.
