Sakshi Provision Store

Sakshi Provision Store is located on Mtadeen Road in the Saadatganj area. If you find yourself near Bauli Chowki in Lucknow, you aren’t far from us at all. This is an old part of the city, and the streets have a lot of history and a lot of people moving through them every hour. Our shop is just one of many, but we have our regular customers from the nearby houses who have been coming here for years. We stock the daily provisions like dal, rice, sugar, and other kitchen staples. It is a bit of a tight space inside, with sacks stacked up and items hanging from the ceiling, but we know where everything is kept. The morning time is usually the busiest when everyone is trying to get their cooking supplies ready for the day. Lucknow can get quite crowded, especially around the chowki, so there is always noise and movement outside the door. We aren’t looking to change much about how we work. It’s a simple setup where we talk to the customers about the weather or local news while we weigh out their items. There is a sense of community here that you don’t get in the big shopping malls.
