Riddhi Store

We spend most of our time here at Riddhi Store on Kursi Road. It is right in the Vikas Nagar Aliganj area, very close to Ajanta Hospital. If you know the hospital, you know where we are. Every morning starts about the same way. We get here early to pull up the shutters and see what needs doing for the day. The street gets quite busy with people going to work or heading toward the hospital. It is a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. We keep things simple. There are shelves to fill and floors to sweep. Sometimes the weather is too hot and we just sit under the fan waiting for the afternoon rush to settle down. People stop by for a bit of this or that. We do not have anything fancy going on, just the usual items people need when they are passing through. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. The tea stall nearby is where we get our morning cup. Running a shop in Aliganj means knowing the local rhythms. Some days are slow and we just talk to the neighbors. Other days, we are constantly on our feet. We have been in this spot for a while now. The address is easy to find if you are around the Kursi Road side. We just try to keep the place organized and ready for whoever walks in next. That is basically our day.
