Reena General Store

Reena General Store is located in Gayatri Nagar in Lucknow, right near the Public Convent School. Because of the school, we get a lot of kids coming in for pencils, notebooks, and snacks. It makes the shop a very lively place during the morning and when school lets out. We also serve the families living around Gayatri Nagar with their daily household needs. You can find things like soap, oil, and biscuits on our shelves. Lucknow has many shops like ours, but we just focus on our own little corner. The area is mostly residential so we know the families well. We see the kids growing up as they come in year after year. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered because we try to stock so many different things. We don't have any big marketing plans. We just open the doors and see who comes in. It’s a simple routine of checking what is low and ordering more. The heat in Lucknow can be quite something in the middle of the day, so we keep the fan running and wait for the evening rush. It’s a decent way to spend the day, being right here near the school. We just provide the basic things that keep a household running. Nothing more and nothing less.
