Rathour Store

Rathour Store is situated right in the middle of Aliganj Bazar. If you are heading towards the I.T.I Chauraha, you will find us easily enough. It is a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the buses and scooters passing by all day. We stay quite busy because there are always people moving through this area for work or shopping. We stock all the basic necessities people need, from small snacks to large containers of cooking oil. The shop is small and the shelves are usually crowded with all sorts of things. We often have to shift piles of stuff around to make room for the new stock that arrives every week. It gets a bit chaotic during the evening rush when everyone is heading home and remembers they forgot to buy something. We just keep our heads down and serve whoever is waiting at the counter. The lights inside the store are not very bright, and the walls probably need a fresh coat of paint soon. But it is a functional place that serves its purpose for the local community. We have been here in Aliganj for quite a long time now. It is a local business run by local people. We don't do anything special, just sell what is on our shelves to the neighbors who need it.
