Daksa Export is tucked away at No. 228/130 in Raja Bazar. If you’ve ever walked through Raja Bazar, you know it’s a tight squeeze with people and stalls everywhere. Our place is part of that landscape. We deal with a lot of packing materials and shipping crates. Most days, the floor is covered with bubble wrap and cardboard boxes waiting to be filled. It’s a bit of a workout moving things around in such a small space. We don’t have a fancy showroom or air conditioning that works all the time. It’s a practical environment for getting goods ready to go out. We spend hours checking lists and making sure the addresses are written clearly on the crates. The noise from the market outside never really stops, so we’ve just learned to talk over it. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the stall around the corner. We aren't trying to impress anyone with our decor; we just need enough room to work. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the weather is hot and the bazaar is crowded. We just keep at it, one box at a time, making sure everything is packed tight before the truck arrives.
