Rahul General Store

We are over at Shop No.-182 near Husadiya Chauraha in Gomti Nagar. The shop is right opposite the Bank of Baroda, so people usually stop in after they finish their bank work. It’s a busy intersection in Lucknow, and there is always something going on outside our door. We carry general items, mostly stuff for the home and some snacks. The shop is a bit cramped. We try to fit as much stock as possible on the shelves. Sometimes we have boxes stacked near the entrance when a new delivery comes in. I’ve been running this place for several years now with my cousin. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when there aren't many customers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We haven't found the time to move everything out yet. We know the names of most people who live in the surrounding houses. It’s a friendly neighborhood, even if it gets a bit loud with the traffic at the Chauraha. We don't have any fancy displays, just the goods sitting where people can see them. If someone is looking for something specific and we don't have it, we tell them where else they might find it. It is just a basic local business. We open up in the morning and stay until late in the evening when the street gets quiet. It’s a simple way to serve the people around Gomti Nagar. We don't have much to complain about as long as the regulars keep dropping by to say hello and get their things.
