Psa Departmental Store

You can find us at 382 A in the Chitwapur Bhuiyan area of Hussainganj. This part of the city is really lived-in and the streets are quite narrow, so our departmental store serves the immediate neighborhood. We carry a bit of everything, from laundry soaps to tea leaves and spices. It’s a practical shop where people come when they realize they forgot something for dinner. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, and the shelves are made of simple wood that’s seen better days. We don't have a computer system or anything, just a notebook and a pen to keep track of things. Life in Hussainganj is busy but in a local way. We know which neighbor prefers which brand of cooking oil. The store is often a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of inventory into a small space. Boxes are sometimes stacked on the floor if a new delivery just arrived. We spend our mornings sweeping the front and arranging the front display of snacks.
