Prakriti Music Academy

Our academy is tucked away at 2/142 Vijaykhand in Gomtinagar, not too far from the Capt area. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, which is good when you’re trying to hear the notes. We have instruments leaning against the walls and chairs scattered around for the students. Prakriti Music Academy isn't a massive school, just a place where people come to learn and practice. You can usually hear a mix of sounds coming from the different rooms, like someone struggling with a scale or a drum beat. We don't have high-end soundproofing, so the neighbors probably hear us more than they’d like. The floors are a bit worn down from people coming in and out all day. We spend a lot of time tuning strings and cleaning the keys. It’s a bit of a lived-in space, with old posters and some sheet music piled up on the tables. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; things are a bit more relaxed here. If someone is late, we just catch up when they arrive. It’s just about the music and the time we spend teaching whoever wants to learn. It’s been our home for a long time now in Vijaykhand, and we’re quite comfortable with the way things are. We just keep the instruments ready and wait for the students to show up for their practice.
