Nritya Dance Academy

If you walk down C- Block Road in Indira Nagar, you’ll find us at 1447/1. We are Nritya Dance Academy, situated right behind the Noddle Station in Lucknow. The space is mostly just a large room with some big mirrors and a floor that we try to keep smooth for dancing. Every afternoon, the quiet of the lane disappears when the students start arriving. You can hear the music from the street, sometimes it's classical and other times it's just modern beats. We don't have a big fancy lobby, so parents usually just wait on the steps or go grab a snack nearby. The building is a bit older, and the stairs are a little narrow, but it works for what we do. Lucknow gets quite hot, so the fans are always on full blast during the sessions. We’ve had all kinds of people come through these doors, from little kids who can't stand still to older folks trying to remember steps. It’s a bit of a squeeze when the big classes are on, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be some TV-style studio. It’s just a place in Indira Nagar where people can move around and learn some rhythm. The Noddle Station landmark helps people find us because the interior roads here can be a bit like a maze sometimes. There is a lot of energy here even if the building is simple.
