Pradeep Kochhar & Co.

Our office is right in the middle of Morgganj, over in the Kabari Bazar area. It is very close to Dal Mandi, so there is always something happening outside. The streets are narrow and usually filled with people and carts moving back and forth. Pradeep Kochhar & Co. has been based here for quite a while. The building is old, like most of the ones in this part of town. We have a lot of ledgers and papers stacked up on the desks. It isn't a modern glass building by any means. It’s more of a place where you hear the shutters going up in the morning and the tea man coming by in the afternoon. We spend our days dealing with various clients who drop in. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the market noise, but we are used to it by now. The fans on the ceiling hum all day to keep the air moving. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just paperwork and coordination. It’s a busy life in the bazaar. We know the neighbors well, and we often chat while waiting for the mail or a delivery. There is no air of importance here, just a lot of hard work and staying on top of the daily tasks. It’s a bit cramped inside, but we make it work because this is where the business happens. The walls are a bit faded and have some marks from moving furniture, but we don't mind. We just keep our heads down and get through the stack of files on the desk every day.
