You can find us over at 638/11 A in Rainbow City, which is part of Faridi Nagar here in Lucknow. Nmp Farmer Producer Company Limited isn't your typical big-city office. We’re more of a collective effort. It’s where we get together to figure out the best way to handle the crops and the business side of being a farmer producer. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is good because it gives us room to think. Our space is filled with files, sample bags, and the occasional stack of crates. It’s a working office, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phone with farmers from all over the region, trying to get things organized. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that’s just life in Lucknow. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby with a water feature. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us sitting at a desk covered in notes. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now and the locals know us pretty well. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the produce and making sure everything is fair for everyone involved. There’s no corporate ladder here, just people doing their jobs. We like it that way. It’s about the community and the farmers, and we just try to keep the wheels turning from our little office in Rainbow City, despite the heat or the rain.
