Renuka Traders

Renuka Traders operates out of Mmig-43 in Sector-C, which is part of the SBI Colony on Sitapur Road in Aliganj, Lucknow. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s fairly quiet except for when the school buses go by in the morning. Being tucked away in a colony like this means we don’t get a lot of random foot traffic, which is actually quite nice for staying focused. Our space is filled with whatever stock we’ve got moving that week, so there are usually boxes stacked up near the entrance and some tape dispensers lying around. We’ve been in this part of Lucknow for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The office is really just a front room converted for business use. We have a couple of heavy wooden desks and a computer that’s seen better days, but it gets the job done. Lunch breaks usually involve someone going out to get tea from the local stall near the main road. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy lobby; we just have our ledger books and the stuff we sell. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We know our regulars and they know where to find us. If you’re looking for a big corporate showroom, this isn’t it, but if you want to see how a small trading business actually runs day to day, this is the place.
