Nitish Chikan Creation

Nitish Chikan Creation is located in the Regency Awadh Building, specifically at Shop No. 4. This is right in the Chowk area, which is pretty much the heart of everything around here. If you know Chowk, you know it is famous for this kind of work. Our shop is a small, practical space where we keep all the chikan work. The Regency Awadh Building is a familiar landmark for people who live and work in this neighborhood. We spend most of our time sitting in the shop, talking to people who drop by and looking over the pieces. It gets very crowded in Chowk, especially during the festive seasons or on weekends. You have to navigate through narrow parts sometimes to get here, but that is just how the old city is. Shop No. 4 isn't very large, but we make the most of the shelves and the floor space we have. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It is just us and the work. The building itself has seen a lot of years. We like being in Chowk because it feels right for what we do. There is a lot of history in these streets. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start the day. Sometimes we have tea from the stall nearby while we wait for the first visitors. It is a simple life in a busy part of town and we enjoy the daily routine of the shop.
