New Avadh Ladies & Gents is situated on Nandan Mahal Road in Lucknow. We are quite close to Prakash Talkies, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. As the name suggests, we serve both men and women, so we have different sections or times for everyone. Nandan Mahal Road is a busy part of Lucknow with lots of old buildings and shops. Our place is pretty straightforward. We don't have a lot of fancy stuff on the walls, just the equipment we need to do hair and basic beauty work. We’ve been here for several years and have a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. Some people come in before going to a movie at Prakash Talkies, and others just stop by on their way home. It’s a bit of a traditional setup. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a manager, we just handle things ourselves. The mirrors are large and the floor is usually covered in hair until we get a chance to sweep it up between customers. Lucknow can get very hot, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. We offer the usual services like cuts, shaves, and threading. It’s a practical shop for practical people. We don't try to be anything we're not. We just work hard and try to make sure everyone leaves looking a bit better than when they walked in. That is the goal every single day.
